Lost a Day

Dang. Today is the first day since NaNo started that I didn't get anything written. I'm bummed by that, but I did try. I think I got food poisoning this afternoon. So far, I'm the only person in the house sick anyway, and I hope it stays that way. It was not fun. Needless to say, I ended up sleeping most of the day away, though I did take my notebook and pen upstairs with me. Unfortunately, my tummy wouldn't settle down enough for me to write at all. I'm in a brief lull where I feel good, but I'm sure it won't last long. Not that it matters anyway. Blogger will probably put this post as "Thursday," but it's definitely Friday here. The NaNo site will mark it as Friday, even if I got anything written now. I'm going to throw in the towel and go back to bed. Hopefully, it will have passed by tomorrow and I can get writing again. Yes. Going back to bed sounds like a grand idea.
